Artist Statement

As an Italian painter, I draw inspiration from the rich artistic traditions of my homeland, particularly the Renaissance and Baroque periods. These movements celebrated the beauty and drama of the human form and infused everyday scenes with a sense of grandeur and emotion.

In addition to these historical influences, I am also inspired by the colorful and expressive works of 19th-century European colorists, who used bold brushstrokes and vibrant hues to convey a sense of energy and vitality.

Alongside these traditional influences, I am also influenced by contemporary American artists such as Richard Schmid. His ability to create luminous and lifelike paintings through masterful use of color and light is a constant source of inspiration for me.

In my own work, I seek to combine these diverse influences into a unique style that is both timeless and contemporary. Through careful attention to detail and an unwavering commitment to realism, I strive to capture the beauty and complexity of the world around us, while also imbuing my paintings with a sense of depth and emotion that speaks to the human experience.
